System 2000 pad washer w/ DA machine?

I know the System 2k Pad Washer from Lake Country is marketed as a pad cleaner for rotary buffers, however Rick @ ADS 's description says it works with DA polishers too.

My question for you folks that have them is, have you tried it with a DA polisher and what were the results?

Not sure how well that would work? The S2000 system (at least the one I have) requires the use of a rotary to spin a large wheel that shoots water up at the pad as 3 sets of spurs clean the pad.

I actually feel a rotary works best on both the S2000 and Grit Guard washer.

I'm not sure either, that's why I'm asking. As I said ADS's page says it works for both. (how? I don't know).

Best ask Rick then. I'd be afraid it would tear up my foam pads as it would require a higher speed and more pressure to get that wheel to spin. Maybe they've redesigned it?

It looks the same. I left a VM with Rick so I guess when he gets back to me I'll post what he says.

I too would think the "DA" action would tear the pads up.. but sometimes you learn something new ;)
