Swissol, Zymol, Turtle wax and Rain-X

Is there any connection among these brands? I heard they belonged to the same group, any true about this? Any proofs?

Last I read, Turtle wax had done a dastardly deed to Zymol. TW was the licencee of Zymol for the cleaner wax found at 'marts and parts stores. Zymol was never going to deal with such nefarious types again.

They had now retracted anything that was said of a derogatory nature. (?)



Swissol owner was once a distributor for Zymol. Started selling "knockoffs." Zymol was upset. Told them to knock it off. Courts were involved.



This is just what I recall, and paraphrased. You can check the site for specifics.



Last I heard about Rain-x, it was owned by Pennzoil/Quaker State.
