Swirled Mercedes SLK 230

This car was pretty swirled, I only have a couple of pictures from the trunk, and the whole car looked like that. On the hood someone has sanded two spots but didn´t use a compound to take away the scratches :shocked

This pictures shows the wetsand damage, they hade the sizes of 1"*1" but I got out the sandscratches to 90%

And a couple of out door shoots, sadly no sun, but I can tell you that the car looked 100% better and the customer was very pleased and happy.

Turtle paint cleaner is a real swirl killer, especialy on rock hard Mercedes clears! :waxing:

Simoniz wax gave the paint a real depth and and good looking shine.

Just kidding :D

My process:

1. Wash

2. Clay

3. Rinse the car

4. Menzerna PO85RD3.02(newest version on Intensive polish) with rotary and a new wool pad. It took out almost all the swirls in no time. Great product!

5. Menzerna PO85RE, polishing pads with Top tool speed 4. If you think that Cyclo is a mean machine? This guy eats cyclos for breakfast!

6. Sealed the car with a new sealant, don´t know the name beacuse the sealant came in an unlabeled bottle.

I knew since the beginning that something was wrong!!

Beautyfull job, clarity, wetness, shine, depth, Everything.... ps. nice ride to work with

Wow, that was some serious swirls, but you really made it look good again! Now he just has to stop washing it with scotchbrite pads ;)

Thanks for the comments!

G35Stilez: It´s based on the same prinicples as the Cyclo but with 4 times the power(1200w)! And you can adjust the speed like the PC. This guy can do heavy compounding, I have 8 differents types of pads, one of my favourite is a foam pad with fabric on top(I uses this on almost every car as compounding pad) I know it sounds crazy, can take a couple of pictures of the pads.

Dave KG: The RD 3.02 is a newer version of the RD3.01, don´t know whats different. I haven´t tested the RD3.01, but this is muuuch better then the PO91L. RE5 is a top notch finishing polish, like it more then the PO85RD beacuse RE5 have more cut. So now I can do almost every car with 2 steps. Compounding with wool/PO85RD3.02 and Polishing/finishing with top tool and RE5

You jerk! :rofl

Had me there for a minute.

Looks great. Can't wait to get my Mazerna order this week.

What Menzerna products have you ordered? Must say that if you have PO85RD3.02 and RE5 you can do almost everything(90%). Add a bottle of S34A(powergloss) and you can do everything.

I don´t think that you guys over there have the RD3.02. Then you should try the Blackfire compound wich is RD3.01 but with extra lubricant. RD3.02 is a newer and upgraded version of the RD3.01.

G35stilez: It´s made in Sweden, so you can only by it here, I think. But the prices is crazy, don´t know if I want to tell you how much it costs. All detailing products is so damn expensive in Sweden. A cyclo costs $550(thats the lowest you can find one for)

The top tool costs almost $1000 :scared:

still want one?

No thanks :D.

LOL Porta

awesome turn around, looks lovely lol

i am interested in that tool as G35 but when you estimate the cost for the tool can some one say "Ouch" if i spent big bucks i would end up with a two or three Fein rotary or 5 metabo rotary but like you said thats the cost in you location and we complain about taxes and gas lol...
