Swirl marks and scratches

I have a huge problem. I made a pro wax my car and after I got it back it had swirl marks all over it and small hair scratches. What should I do?
 
You are going to have to polish them out. How much experience do you have? Your best bet is to just start reading these forums and learn as much as you can.
 
where are you located? A "pro" as in professional detailer? Or was it one of those huge drive-thru car washes with a "detail shop" located within? I can only suggest to start reading through the forums. How familiar are you with polishing?

Go back and demand to fix it. Make pictures to have proof. If you want to do it yourself have have had good results with PB SSR 2.5 + SSR1 + EX-P.

the problem is they probably just waxed it, and didn't do any polishing before hand to remove the scratches...

go to the "click & brag" section and you will see many different combos (polishes, compounds, waxes, tire dressings, etc...) that members are using.
 
I am new to all this and I have owned a Lexus IS250 for 6 months now. There have been 2 months since this happened and since then I have only waxed it my self. I am afraid of using a machine cuz i dont know how. I waxed my car 2 days a go and this is how it came out. Those who want to know where I am from, I am from Iceland.

HA the PITA black paint. Since you are from Iceland you probably won't be able to purchace a PC. I myself have invested in a Makita BO6040. I'm very happy with it and it's very easy to use. In the random mode you can't go wrong. Use the correct products and pads. But first of all invest a couple af days in reading this forums and the some websites like autogeek.net, premiumautocare.com, superiorcarcare.net, superiorcarcare.net etc. And don't forget to buy a lot of microfiber towels and good wash mits.
 
I am planning to buy the meguiars PC, what do you think? I am also planning to use all meguiars since there is no possibility for me to buy Zaino here in Iceland.
 
I think the meguiars PC doesn't have enough power. I live in Belgium and buy all my stuff from Pakshak and Autogeek. It's cheaper to buy overseas and pay the shipping, taxes and customs than to buy the meguiars products at the local shop. For me I do : price pakshak/autogeek x 1,6. For example : Meguiars NXT Generation Car Wash : 8$ x 1,6 = +/- 13 EUR. At local shop 22 EUR !!!. Don't forget the coupon 'Autopia' at autogeek 10% off.
 
meguiars PC and a PC from any other site is the same machine.



Megs just slapped their name on it and warrantied it.
 
ive noticed what alot of detailers do .not all but alot they uses a waxglaze with silicone in it which hides the scratches for like a day or 2 intill you wash it and then see that they didnt polish it at all!!!! :shocked :shocked :mad: :mad: :sadpace: :sadpace: :sadpace:
