sure shot sprayer for opti-bond?

Do you have a compressor? If so, I'd recommend an HVLP spray gun, anyway.

I bought one a couple of weeks ago at Harbor Freight. Used a "coupon" from the September, Motor Trend magazine............all of $9.99 + tax, locally. Added a $5.00 pressure regulator, attached to the gun itself. Voila, $15.00 for an Opti-Bond sprayer. Works very nicely.

This is what I purchased:

- Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices

plus

- Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices

In addition, you might want to consider a refillable aerosol can (again, need a compressor) or a plastic pressure sprayer. For instance, the following:

- Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices

.............plastic pressure sprayer, similar to this version.......I've seen different types, this is an example & I think, a little too large for tire applications.

Delta Industry

Hope that helps........

I have a sure shot can, I'm wondering if anyone has used them to spray opti-bond.

Thats not a HVLP gun btw. :p

Ok I broke down and got an HVLP gun (found a 20% off coupon for HF tools)

I have only used one of these in an autobody shop class in high school, dont really know how to set one up. Can anyone give me some tips for spraying this stuff out of a gun?

Good choice..............HF is a deal and a half, especially with some kind of coupon.

Take a look at this link & the Optimum Forum in general. I just picked an Opti-Bond topic to include.
