Supercharged white Yukon exterior detail (56K no!)

First off this Yukon was NICE!! It has a Magnacharger and a fully built engine (built by a racing shop in So Cal). The best part is, its his daily driver! He also has a GTO with too many mods including a STS turbo system. I met him through a local Pontiac forum. This is pretty much my only other source for business other than friends and family now that I'm back in school.

Time took: ~8hrs :hairpull

Process:

Clean windows

RainX windows

Wash with NXT

Clay the heck out of it! I hate white! Especially when it hasn't been clayed ever!

Polish with OCP with orange pad on hood and doors (top) on speed 5.5 and green pad on roof and bottom of doors on speed 5.5

AIO with blue pad on speed 2.5

EX-P with grey pad on speed 2 (waited 30min)

PBs wheel sealant on wheels

NXT All Metal Polysh on chrome bumpers and exhaust tip

Mothers Cleaner wax on front chrome grill

303 on tires and all exterior plastics (customer wanted satin finish for tires or I would have gone BnB)

PBs BnB on wheel wells and engine compartment

Jams:

Cleaned with Simple Green 10:1

Waxed with OCW

303 on weather stripping

First time using 303 and must say I really like this stuff! Reminds me a lot of Armor All, but not greasy at all. I thought it would have a more satin, no gloss finish but it finishes a lot like Armor All if you dont buff or anything. And I can buy it locally so I think I found my new interior/exterior protectorant.

Sorry for so many pics, but I am just so happy with the way it turned out and I just love the way it looks. :lol There are more pics here http://photobucket.com/albums/a18/pontman43/Yukon/ too.

BTW I got to take it for a quick ride, with owner aproval, and it was the fastest truck I've been in. Probably as fast or faster than my Trans Am! :woohoo: Now I gotta talk him into given it to me. :xyxthumbs

Cant wait till I get to do his Goat!

Let me know what you guys think.

BTW happy Halloween everyone!

VERY Nice!

With that job, you shouldn't have a big problem keeping him as a client.

20" Denali wheels are bitchin.

Thanks guys, and Sean, ya he already wants me to do his Tacoma ASAP and his GTO when its out of the shop. And he was talking to me about what to use next time on the Yukon. I think the one thing that impressed him the most was, me also doing the top, that was the very first thing he check and after that he was extremely impressed. :woot2:

Nice detail.!!!! Very good work on the before and after pic's of the imperfections.

Even though I do not do engine details, other than a cursory wipe downs, I really appreciate a good one. That engine looks good, to me, in that picture.

Nice work amigo...............Nice ride also.....

How many hrs ? And I hope you got your $$ worth from him too!

Thanks, it took 8hrs and I only charged $130 and didn't get any tip unfortunately, I guess friends and family just spoiled me with tipping. BTW I got the order from you just in time to used them, thanks again for all the great service!!

He actually didn't want to pay to have his engine done, but I couldn't resist but to at least dress the plastic and rubber. The engine install was actually done about a week ago, so it was still very clean.

Nice job all the way around, especially on the paint. Those before shots hurt my eyes!

Thanks Scott, like many others here I strive for approval from pros like yourself.
