Super Clean All Wheel Cleaner: Concerns?

So I was at Wal-Mart last night looking for some wheel cleaner. I bought some "Super Clean All Wheel Cleaner" in the purple bottle, but I cannot find a brand name on it. I did a search on google, and I found a picture of an identical bottle except Castrol was branded on it.

Anyway my real question is; is it safe on "all wheels" like it says. The bottle says it contains "2-Butoxyethanol, Sulfamic Acid, and Hydroxyacetic Acid. I'm assuming this classifies it as an acidic wheel cleaner. Any comments on it?

Thanks

Nick

The proper way to use an acid cleaner is to apply a neutralizer after you have rinsed off the acid and use lots of water. But first run a test area that you are going to clean to see if it etches the metal. Also make sure the acid is diluted to the right strength before applying. Some acids are better for cleaning then other acids. Like some acids if not neutralized it can just keep eating away at the metal for a long time. And some acids will kill you :sosad if it gets into your bone marrow and believe me some acids can easily do it. Phosphoric acid is one of the better cleaning and safer acids using it at the right diluted rate. Remember when using an acid is to rinse vary well and wash afterwards. Also don’t use an acid cleaner on concrete because the concrete will discolor. If you have to use an acid on concrete wet the concrete down real well first then apply your acid cleaner and wet down the concrete again afterwards. I give you a few tips on cleaning with acid there is more to know so….

One thing about using acid & alkaline cleaners Don’t learn by your mistakes, :doh know first before using it. There is a lot to know on cleaning with acid & alkaline cleaners.

How do I know all this because I stayed at a Holiday inn with a blond that had a PhD in organic chemically :spot :getdown
