I'm thinking of getting the kit on CMA and was wondering if anyone had any comments on it? I've heard good things about the wax but I can get that for 25 bucks. If the whole kit is worth it then I want to get it. Thoughts?

Check out the thread in Product Reviews. Seems like most people like it so far (myself included). The precleaner is awesome too.

I have tried the P21s wheel cleaner and I was not impressed. EFHI does a better job and it's cheaper to boot. I have heard good things about the paint cleaner, but I have not tried it yet.

Hey ShowRoom....

You don't like the wheel cleaner??? I was just about to post a response saying how much I did like it, I felt it did as good of a job as Ef-Hi. It seemed to work really well for me.

I tried the regular wheel cleaner and it did not remove all of the break dust, some spots still remained. I never had that problem with EFHI. I have heard that the gel from P21s is better than the spray, but I know people who were not overly impressed with it either.

I had a new car at the time and used it every week so maybe I couldn't really compare it to a beater car.

I'll stick with Ef-Hi, it costs less, you get more and it is as strong (stronger as you say).

I bought the kit last November, and just ran out of the wheel cleaner and bodywork shampoo this week (May). Still have lots of paintwork cleanser and wax left.

I have a black 99 Passat and I must say my car looks AWESOME after washing, and especially after the polish and wax. I myself have had excellent results with the wheel cleaner, and even the shampoo itself in getting brake dust off of my wheel covers.

I am fairly new to all this detailing stuff but tried to do my homework before I bought products and have been well pleased with the P21S products so far.

Bought the gepc, wax, and shampoo a few weeks back to use on my 2002 F150 (black) (was iffy about the wheel cleaner, so I bought the individual products and skipped the kit/saved a few bucks for now). The gepc seemed fairly mild in relation to a few other similar products I've used (as most others have mentioned in other threads), but the paint is in good condition and it left a nice shine. Was going to use a polish after gepc, but decided to skip it and see how that worked out. Used the p21s wax on top of the gepc.......looked OK after one application, much, much nicer after the second application one week later. Given the ease of use and the results, I'm a happy camper. Haven't used the shampoo yet. FWIW.

I've used a lot of their products. Wax, paint cleaner, shampoo, Total Auto Wash.

The wax is a excellent product. Best looking protectant I've ever used on my dark car. Doesn't last as long as some other products, but looks great nonetheless. It's a wipe-on, wipe-off type of product. Easy to remove as long as you don't let it dry.

The paint cleaner is also a great product-- for light prep-type work.

Same goes for the shampoo--great product, good amount of suds. If you use it, you'll have a tough time going back to something else.

Total Auto Wash is a citrus-type general cleaner. It's doesn't work miracles, but it's a good product for cleaning vinyl, bug removal, tire cleaning, etc. Can also be used as an engine cleaner, but I haven't used it for that.

All-in-all it's a great line of products IMHO.

P21s :

1- Blinding shine. If you look at the sun's reflection for long

you can hurt your eyes.

2- Crisp reflections.

3- Easy application.

The P21S wax is not bad. Very easy to apply and remove. Similar to your Pinnacle Paste Glaz and Souveran but without the tropical fruity smell :-)

P21S and Pinnacle Souveran were both created by the same chemist. Also, S100 is P21S's motercycle line, and some of the products are just re-packaged from their car line, at great prices (S100 wax is $15)

the P21S wheel cleaner is an excellent product and carries the endorsement of the major German mfgs. since it is safe to use around brake pads and other brake components over extended periods. If you don't clean your wheels frequently then this may not be the best product for you.

Their carnauba wax is quite good and I would compare it to Pinnacle's Paste Glaz...excellent initial shine but lacks a bit in staying power. So, if you intend to use this on a daily driver, you may need to wax more often than you like.

just got to try p21s for the first time on a porsche last week. I used GPEC and the wax... both were pretty easy to apply and remove, GPEC did cover and hide a lot of the swirls, and make the surface reflective. At the end it looked pretty good... nothing super amazing... but above most... it will stay in my line of products i use.

you can get the P21S Kit from Top of the Line for only $39 - this is a GREAT deal. All the products are top notch, you will not be sorry. I would pay $39 for the cleaner/carnuba combo alone, and the wheel cleaner is simply the best available on the market today. the Shampoo cleans thoroughly and is very gentle at the same time.

I recently bought some P21S and used it this summer. It was very easy to apply and remove. (no more than 2 X 2 feet in low humidity with the woosy supplied applicator) Don't let this wax harden too much or it does from easy to remove to major effort.

When finished, I especially like the liquidity (wet look) and clarity of reflections.

Thewaxtest.org, now gurureports.org listed P21S as the longest lasting highest shine Carnauba. It held hold up well for the last six weeks, and beads just like the first washing. And this is on my dark red Mazda.

I asked P21S technical support about durability. Their response was that while they are gratfeul it worked well in the guru reports test, they recommended a recoat every 6 weeks. Probably a good idea in the winter. I personally feel that this will last longer than 90 days in our blistering heat on a well prepped surface.
