Hey Patrick,
You forgot to mention part of right side was repainted after the car was broken into and glass was shattered "literally" everywhere inside. The paint surprisingly was immaculate and you could not see any blend lines in the door or mirrors.
The glass shattered inside was ground into the seat rails grease, so every-time the seat is adjusted or moved, the poor guy will be reminded his car was broken into for his radar detector. This guy has a poor record when it comes to getting cars stolen and/or broken into in LA.
The car was in pretty good, to great condition. Even though some people don't use UPP that much anymore, Patrick and I had used UPP before on this Silver/Graphite Porsche and it still was protecting the car well enough after 4 months, provided plenty of beads when washing, and the car still looked great with reflections even though the car was dirty. Of course, nothing looks as good after a full clay, polish, and a new coat of wax or sealant! (Notice Patrick didn't use before shots, my before shots were pretty good too Patrick). I still say the real work in reflection and shine is in the polishing, and not the LSP. Spend your $ & time on preparation, and any good LSP will look great and last awhile too boot.
But Patrick, you have to show the picture of the factory dealer prep. of the Infinity M35 (?). The sound system is amazing in this car, better than almost anything I have heard, with speakers built into the seats. Plus they use real wood. But the kicker is, you got to see the dealer prep for a 50Kto 60 K car :chuckle:
The weather was quite balmy this weekend for Patrick & I. Saturday it was 109 in Santa Clarita doing a difficult Mustang, and I think it was a cool 95 plus when we did the Porsche in LA. Wasn't even a dry heat.
Doug
