Greetings All,

Having met ZippyMbr (Matt) and MartinD last week, just floating the idea of a Detailing Meet. Zippy has been gracious enough to open his Air Conditioned () Garage in Durham. Driveway, is flat, can fit 8-10 vehicles and the shop is 52x32 (?). It's always fun to meet and comment on different paint types or detail combo's. As well, exchange Automotive service referrals (Bodyshop, Paint Films), or products.

That being said, please list your availability, interest for some activities, or even just to let us know if your in the Carolinas.

Name / Location / Info:

1) SilvaBimma - Cary, NC - In & Out of the Country, Rotary/PC Work, Open this Month.

2) Brandon1-Youngsville, NC, available any time, interested in some swirl removal and rotary perfection.

Count me in! If Zippy's garage falls through, then we always have my air-conditioned 60x40 garage that is always open, just in case.

Hey all new to autopis but im been detailing for about 3 yrs. im in asheboro, nc and im down for training and tips. Yeah let me know when and ill be there.

Hey - count the ol Junebug in too, I'm down the road from Brandon. Available most Saturdays - I have Makita rotary but still not a rotary master and would like to see some techniques.

Im up for it :xyxthumbs I've done work with MartinD, the end of the week or weekend is good for availability. fairley new to detailing myself but always looking to learn new tips and tricks. I look forward to meeting you all.

I'm up for it also, I'm new to the forum so it'll give me a chance for a meet and greet. I'll bring my black E36 M3 that needs all the help it can get.

Danville, Va

Not a lot of free time but a Saturday would be nice if not busy. Always looking to improve technique and meet people with the same addiction. :D

I'm located in Apex and would like to attend a weekend meeting. I've been afraid to try a rotary and would like to actually see it done correctly and be able to ask some questions before trying it myself. I think I am about to order (with the wife's permission) a Makita BO6040 dual-mode polisher. Hopefully I will it have before this get together weekend so some of you can try the random orbit with forced rotation mode.

Hey, did you guys ever get a chance to meet up? Anywhere near the Piedmont Tirad, Charlotte, or Research Triangle and I'm there! I just got the hand of the rotary this weekend and I love it! Twice the power in half the time of the PC.

I would love to meet up with some guys to detail and rotary some stuff. I still have my shop that we can meet at, and I have some decent supplies along with a rotary and PC. June Bug is down the street from me, and others arent far away from my area, I am about 20 min away from I-540 in raleigh.

This Saturday would work well for me!

Alright then, we should set a date to get together. I could call and ask the local detailing supplier if they would be interested in having the event at their shop, or we could have it at my shop. My shop fits 2 trucks and one very small car and is air conditioned with a wash bay (60x40). Or the O.P. said he had a shop to get at. I am up for whatever.

heh yeah fo real, but if it is at my place, I would have to say no alcohol just for safety reasons.

So what kind of count do we have and when are we available? I know a Saturday would work best. I am available any Saturday, so yall just let me know. I would like to get this going soon. I will call Majestic Solutions and see if they would like to host the event if we have enough people.

You guys name the time and place and I'll be there, and most likely my brother as well! (danponjican on this site)

Host whatever, wish I could Detail but I'm out of the country till Christmas. Majestic Solutions has a big account in the Triangle, I just dislike their pricing/products by preference.

SamXP, are you from carolinaeuros?
