sun friendly polishes

I'm limited to the great outdoors when I polish so I'm looking for something that can be used in the sun. Are there products available?

Optimum and the SSR lines are the only I've used in the sun but both worked great. Optimum gets the nod from me but the SSR line is pretty good as well.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I read your review and while doing a bit of surfing I noticed that Poorboy's SSR 1, 2, and 3 are also pink, baby blue, and tan. Any idea if these are the same product with different packages?

I have used both and will have to say they are different

if you use just a little too much of the SSR's they can dust BAD

but the swirl abolishers are very user friendly and smell great also

Poorboy's works very well, as does the Clearkote line.

Growing up in FL, I never thought I would use a product in full sun. But I have, and they work!

Nice review Jim. A couple of questions.

(The reply button has been de-activated on that sponsors forum so I'll have to ask here (apologies to OP for going a bit off topic)).

What pad did you use with each SA polish?

What rating on the Megs abrasive scale would you give each polish?

Cheers.

I prob. used propell pads orange(cut), green(polishing)

I don't remeber if I finished with the green(polishing) or the blue (finishing)

sorry have not used megs

Thanks for the quick reply. (Shouldn't you be asleep in bed? ;) )

Maybe some of the others who've used both SA and Megs polishes can chime in with their guesstimate. :)

The PB's SSR line does a great job in the sun. They do, however, dust like mad when used in that environment.

SAII seems in between #80 & #83. I use Meg's polish with Meg's pads and SA with LC pads so I can't compare exactly.

So similar cut to IP PO91L?

I wish I could say. I've only used IP once, it was a humid day and it didn't work very good and I just haven't had a chance to try it again. Sorry, maybe someone else can has a better answer.
