Tape stripes.

Do I clay these, around these or avoid them completely.

The ones I am talking about are aftermarket applied. They have watermarks on them that I will try vinegar or PB Bug Squash on. But should I avoid them completely when I am claying the car?

The clay will not hurt them....just go the same direction as the strip...this way the clay will not catch on the edge of the stripe.

I agreed with Beemerboy, just don't rush yourself claying. It should work fine.

Per my constant badgering: Try a small area first to check the quality of the tape job.

there should be no reason to work around them ..just be gentle around the edges whether claying or polishing

Problem # 2 with the stripes is there are some scratches through them.
Will something like black hole make that less noticible?

Yes in some cases..but don't beat yourself up if you can't get them all out.....working around after market striping is hard because it can lift if you catch the edge
