Brand new Aventador done as a new car prep, plus about 20hours of correction.

Problems included:

Factory defects
Holograms
Pigtailing
Sand scratches
and the absolute worst of all.... greasy tire shine

After heavy compounding.... note the Aventador paint is one of the hardest clear coats I have polished. The microfiber cutting disc and M105 barely made a dent in the pigtailing and sandscratches, wool pads, surbuf etc. all were used to gain the needed level of correction.

50/50 of the hood, again the cloudiness on the left side has yet to be polished, sand scratches on the hood of a Lamborghini of Ferrari is rare, usually these are seen more commonly on the bumpers and lower door panels.

Hi Dave,

How can anyone not enjoy this thread!

Thanks so much for putting together all the steps and photos of such a gorgeous Supercar and taking it to the next level. You might want to think about sending this to Lamborghini in order for them to understand what their cars "should" look like!!

Tremendous!! :bow :bow :bow

Omg that's is one sexy car. Sweet color as well. You sure did make that car pop. Must be nice work on cars like that.

You never fail to amaze me with your work Dave!

Simply fabulous work on one of the sexiest cars I have ever seen.:yourrock

Wow that's an amazing car. Nice job on cleaning up the defects too. That's how a car should look!

Very nice work on a great vehicle! Dave your work has always caught my eye. Just curious what are the dimensions of the space you work in. It seems similar to mine and I like your lift set up. Ive always thought of tearing out the offices in the back and making a loft area for an office or stacking the waiting room and office to add lifts. It would be nice to store more vehicles. Nice set up!

dave your work as well as the cars you work on are always top notch. this one doesn't disappoint. that guy has some collection, pardon my asking but what the hell does he do...

Great save there Dave, it need some TLC and your gave it! Thanks for sharing it here with us:rockon

As much as i'm amazed at these cars i'm more amazed at the poor quality of the paint condition that they are delivered in.

Those after pics are AWESOME! What a car and of course what great work :D. Thanks for posting Dave, the quality of your work is fully showcased!
