Storing your Orbital

After doing a couple of jobs this weekend, I was really tired of carrying my 7424 around in a "bucket", and wanted something a bit more tidy and professional. So while looking around the home improvement stores, I found that Home Depot is currently having a sale on one of it's small toolboxes. It's called the Homer and it's orange. Nothing fancy BUT it's just about the perfect size.

I placed the PC, 7 6" pads, and 3 4" pads in the toolbox easily. Sale price is $9.95.

Looks good...thanks for the heads up

I plan on just keeping the box and buying several clear totes from walmart for products and what not...I am sure the box will eventually go bad and then I will upgrade to a tool/tackle box but untill then.....

looks like a great fit! I don't like anything in my pad container other than pads. But if ur careful, like u seem to be, then its not a prob.

Honestly at $10 for a rigid case with a tool tray and two latches, you could get one JUST for pads and another for the PC. In fact, I may just do that.

I should be able to carry all my pads in one box, and the 7424, all polishes, sealants, etc. in the other. I am going to move to carrying crates for all my other detailing supplies. Probably a crate for exterior stuff, and one for interior stuff. Easy to organize and stack. A couple of clear totes for MF towels, and everything should be nice and organized.

Or maybe something like this:
