Stoners MSLT as undercarraige detailer?

JimS

Adopt a shelter pet!
Yesterday I sprayed some MSLT on the front wheel wells and it seemed to coat them with a nice black. After a few hours and a few miles I checked them again and they still looked pretty good so I got out the creeper and sprayed the differential.

After a few more hours and miles the differential looked good so I sprayed most of the undercarraige under the bed. I just went out and crawled under there again and after having driven about 45 miles around town today the undercarraige looks as if I'd painted it.

Great for a quick detail prior to a show and I can't think of a downside to this use of MSLT.

I justed used Stoners MSLT for the first time this weekend. I thought it was pretty easy to spray on--the diameter of the spray is just right for two passes around the tire to completely cover the sidewall.

I checked my tires after sitting over night and was happy to find that this product dries nicely on the tires--leaves no residue or oily feeling. The tires looked great and now I can see how long it lasts.

I have been using 303 and been happy, but I may have found a new tire dressing. I had been at an auto store that had a bunch of Stoners on sale--the MSLT only cost me $2.50--I think I will regret not buying more cans of it. In fact, I am bummed right now:mad:

That's nice, I never knew it would stick to the fender wells more than 30 minutes, I am going to buy some on my next trip to the auto parts store.

If you go to their website www.stonersolutions.com you can buy it by the case.

I really like the MSLT and their Invisible Glass. Both products do the job for me. I've been using MSLT for about 3 years now with no problems or complaints.

I had tried to spray their glass cleaner thick, then thin and tried a few other tricks but I can't seem to get the hang of it. Maybe it streaks so easily because it's a spray (fine mist).

I really like the EF Hi glass cleaner, nothing like a good hefty squirt on the window.

I'll check out their page and compare prices, you posted a response so quick hahhaa I had to make sure my post went through because I saw your name as the last poster, confused me their.

I use a mf to wipe after spraying the Invisible Glass and have not had one instance of streaking or any other problem. Try the mf and see if that works. Hope this helps.
