Stoner's Invisible Glass, smells like Windex?

I just picked up a bottle since I recently got my windows tinted. I noticed today that it smells exactly if not very very similar to Windex? Is it supposed to smell like that?

Secret...most window cleaners are formulated with some of the same basic ingredients (I.E. Butoxyethanol). Invisible Glass, however, contains several solvents in addition to Butoxyethanol.

I believe the thing that makes stoners IG tint safe is that it is ammonia free. It may have all the safe stuff as windex minus the ammonia, so it should be fine.

I've been using IG for quite some time now and I don't ever remember saying "hmm, this smells like Windex"

Someone probably bought your Stoner's, emptied it out into another empty bottle, and replaced it with Windex (or knockoff). :chuckle: I'm joking, but I guess that's actually a possibility. Can't do that with the aerosol version. Just a thought. :nixweiss

hum...maybe ill go back and see if the aerosol cans smell the same.

LOL..I'm imagining people spraying glass cleaners in the air like people do air fresheners to compare the scents....only an autopian!

I've talked to them on the phone fairly extensively about their product line and I'm pretty sure he said that the aerosol invisible glass is the same as the non-aerosol.

I prefer using the spray version vs. the aerosol because I can throw the plastic spray bottle in the recycle bin when it's empty. Aerosol can goes in the trash.
