I mentioned this product in this thread: https://www.autopia.org/threads/stoner-car-care.193333/

I'm really loving this product--the full name is Stoner Decon Prep Iron Remover and Wheel Cleaner--Patented Odorless Decontaminant.

This seems like a joy to use after years of using hair-perm wheel cleaners and decon products. The color change takes a little longer, and I don't care if it doesn't work as well because it's just so much more pleasant to use. After all, we used to use (non-HF) acid decon products and they didn't change color and no one knew whether they were working or not.

If I could change anything I would make it a little thicker so it foams and clings better, and I wish they could make the name a little longer...

When I use up my other wheel cleaners I'm going to get a gallon of this and say goodbye to hair-perm...although I may keep a bottle of FerreX around, that uses a different thioglycolate and doesn't seem as pungent-smelling.

Thanks for the heads up on this, I agree, so many of the iron/ferrous removal products will singe your nose hairs!!

Stoner was having a good Black Friday sale, so I bought a gallon of the Odorless Iron Remover. The bottle got a little squashed in shipping so I went to look at it a couple of days later and there were some blue solids in the bottom (the spray bottle is black so I didn't know if this was normal). I emailed them to ask if it was normal and if it would mix back in, because the stuff foams like crazy in the bottle when you shake it, so I couldn't really tell if it mixed back in.

So a little while later the phone rings and I absently pick it up, and I hear something about cars and I figure this is some car warranty call which I haven't gotten in a while...turns out it was Stoner calling to tell me the settling is normal and just shake it up. I give them an A+ for customer service, but I was so caught off-guard I forgot to suggest them they make the product a little thicker so it clings better.
