stone chips that aren't "Chips" yet

What do you guys do about the areas on your hood that a stone may have hit but the paint is not actually chipped off yet. I have two places on mine that you can tell something hit it but not enough to take the paint off. Do you just let well enough alone?
 
you mean it just looks like an indentation in the paint? just leave it and take care of it when and if it gets worse
 
Well it looks like it "started" to chip the paint because you can see the small crack in the paint but paint is not really coming off.
 
I have a few spots like that. It's tough but I just leave them alone for now. Mine is a daily driver so I know I will have more and these may worsen. It's just a choice I must make because I'd make myself crazy chasing every little imperfection and probably make them worse. If I have a bad spot or something gets worse, I know wetsanding is an option.
