So a few weeks ago, I saw a thread and can't find it. The detailer had to use some sort of steamer with a triangular shaped brusch attached to it to remove what looked like years and years of smoke/tar color from the tan leather of an SUV or something.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

tssdetailing- Most of the more potent steamers come with an assortment of heads with fairly stiff bristles, one of these heads is usually the triangular one, which has a clamp feature that can hold a MF.

You really do have to be careful using that on leather lest you have an "oops!".

haha jacka$$

so is the steamer called a Hydroforce then?

:nana:

LoL. That company does make a steamer and they sell that attachment i believe. I'm sure there are a ton more of places to get that but that is just what i came up with when doing a quick search.

I have/had a Steamfast, and while it was very cheap, it did not last very long. It worked well while it worked, though. I must admit, I miss using it; steamers are a very fast, efficient way to get stuff clean. Although, you really do need to be careful with it. You need to be way more careful with a steamer than you do with a rotary. Bad analogy, really, cause you *REALLY* need to be more careful with a steamer than a rotary.
