I read this numerous times on this site. When using a rotary, this is critical advice. When using a UDM/PC is this advice as important?
I ask due to the fact that with a UDM or PC, it is highly unlikely you will damage the paint. So staring out with an orange pad and a mild compound when a white pad and polish would have worked may not be too risky simply due to the nature of dual action polishers. Now staring out with a yellow pad and a heavy compound may be a little careless but you guys get my point. What do you guys think?
