What have you guys been using on stainless steel valve covers? It seems as though valve covers because of the heat get real nasty!!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check out English Custom Polishes. Great stuff. They offer several products for different types of metals and different levels of oxidation.

stainless steel? Are you sure it's not aluminum?

I use Mothers mag/aluminum polish on valve covers. It works wonders with a cotton towel and a little elbow grease.

I'm gonna go with White95max on this one and ask the same question as to the composition of the valve covers. Most are aluminum and unless this is some custom job, I highly doubt they are stainless steel. Something like PowerMetal from Mother's would probably get the job done.
