Stainless Steel Trim care...Your opnions ...Please

For Christmas I purchased a complete set of stainless steel trim for the wife's Chrysler 300 Touring. I also went ahead and puchased some stainless steele trim for my black truck. Have that installed already. I have had the rocker panels for some time and never really gave it much thought. Now that I have trim for the wife's car I must give this considerable thought. Mostly because of the time that it will not get any attention because I will be gone for six months.

The trim for the wife's car is still in the box.

Having gone to the extreme in this endeavor one thing that I had not thought about is what kind of care is the stainless steele going to need in the coming months and years ahead? In my use of the search engine I found that the concensus was to use Poorboy's Pro Polish. In lieu of that polish others stated that PWC would also work.

It would be nice to get the views of the forum members about a product that would best serve the care of the stainless steel trim that has already been installed on my truck and the trim that will be soon be installed on the Chrysler 300 Touring.

cwad i don't have any product info. i just wanted to let you know the truck looks phenominal. please post the wife car when done.

I would just polish it with aio or poorboys PP and then zaino like the rest of the car.

Actually Greg, the pickup is covered with Souveran at this moment. Except for the hood which has for different carnuaba's on it for a test. I am in my carnuaba phase while at home. The Zaino will come when I go to Alaska.

joe p. thanks for the compliment. It is always nice to hear.

So, what happens to stainless steel: air, oxidization. No bubbling or delamination or porousity issues. Perhaps the acrylic protection of KAIO would be fine. I dunno.

Looks better in person. That truck is SLICK. VERY SLICK. I'd almost bet 50 bucks he could park that bad boy in a dog house.....
