Stained Micro Fiber towels

What are you guys doing with your stained Micro Fiber towels? Sure, if we just use them to dry, and to buff off wax, there's no reason for them to get stained...But, some of us are using them to buff billet wheels, or even, god forbid, to dust around the house! For we wheel polishers, and dusters, our cloths get stained...We wash them, and they get cleaned, but they're still stained. I see no reason not to continue to use them...Any loose dirt or abrasive materials have been cleaned away...So what if some of the previously pink or white or blue or green fibers are now brown or black?

Do you guys agree? We can keep using our beloved cloths, right, with no reductin in effeciveness?

I worry a lot about stains on my MFs. I usually do a cd test on the affected area of the cloth to be sure. Sometimes even after that I'm apprehensive.

I've found that pretreating the stains with laundry detergent prior to washing often helps remove some of the stains so I can sleep easier at night :).

My worst MF towel stain was that black junk from the windshield wiper rubbers. Used an MF towel to clean the wipers and the towel had plenty of really black streaks.

I sprayed a 50-50 mix of Charlie's Soap and water on the MF towel stains, scrubbed the stains with an old toothbrush and they came out! I then machine washed the towel in my normal manner, hung it up and when dry it looked really good. :D
