ssr1 vs pwc

PWC is a very mild polish with carnauba in it, while the ssr1 is a polish only. Neither is a glaze but if I had to pick one out of the two I would pick the PWC.

So, if I understand you correctly, you're saying that these two products are the same aggresive wise, but the only difference is the carnauba?

Well, SSR1 has light abrasives in it, so that would make it slightly more agressive than PWC which is strictly a chemical polish (at least to my knowledge). Personally, I use SSR1 when I am going to top it with a sealant and PWC when I will use a natural wax. I just feel that its better to put a sealant directly on the paint as sealants sometimes don't bond well to carnauba. However, many people on DC use PWC under everything and overall I would say it is a more popular choice than SSR1. Both are great products though, try them out and see what works for you, you cant go wrong with either.

Never used PWC but I do know that I've used SSR1 and even though it's supposed to be a very mild finishing polish it does a great job with a polishing pad at removing minor swirls and spiderwebbing and leaves an excellent shine. After using it breifly I had to order a gallon of it as it's that good of a product. I primarily chose the SSR1 becuase I use sealants on most of my customers cars.

SSR 1 will give you the shiny, wet look of a glaze, but it does not fill swirls or leave behind any oils. For the best look I use The PC with a polishing pad at max speed ... work the product till pretty much gone and WOW

PWC by machine is a polish - if you do a second coat by hand it will act more like a glaze...all in all it is a great one step product
