Ssr 2.5

Was thinking about getting some. Would this work by hand with a MF or Terry applicator? Have some minor cobb webbing on white hood.

2.5 is a agressive product and can remove swirls by hand if you work in smal areas like a 12 x 12 inch area. Since you car is white it will not show the swirls marks as much as a darker color. I would use the SSR1 instead as it will do enough on light swirls and the white color. Then if you are using PB lineup I would go with the P-w-C and top with a sealant or paste wax. On white cars I tend to so all of the tings that I have said, only because I'm trying to get the paint to Pop and that seems to work

If it's minor marring you're talking about I would use something a little less aggressive. Like SSR1 or 2 by hand.

Looking at the picture, this might be a good time to invest in a good random orbital polisher.
The swirls you have are going to require a lot of work regardless of the product you use.

I agree with Charles,, the SSR2.5 could do a great job on those swirls, but by hand it may be a laborous and tedious job. This would be the time to get a pc and save yourself a lot of hard work. If you choose to do it by hand, follow Beemerboy's advice and do small areas at a time and then keep expanding and overlapping to previous done sections. More than one pass may be needed..always hard to tell from pictures, and using SSR1 or 2 might also be needed after the SSR2.5
