Squirrels in engines

Hello Everyone, I had a client ask me if there is some product we could apply to prevent Squirrels from getting into his engines and interior. They keep chewing his wires and nesting.
Have you guys run into this before, is there a way to take care of this problem for him? I maintain the detailing of the cars 1 time a month.

Thanks

Never ran into squirrles, but Ive found mice under hoods and inside cars 100 times over, not to mention all of the destruction they leave behind. I dont really know what to tell you about preventing it though. Ill see my father in law in a little while and Ill ask him if theres a redneck remedy out there for them. If there is, he will know it lol.

I always put dryer sheets in my engine bays and in my interior for winter storage on all my garage queens. I have never had a mouse issue but I heard it a good prevention.

Well my in laws dont know either, which really surprises me lol. They did have some suggestions if you ever have a possum or "coon" infestation though :bubba

i've heard that the old fashioned moth balls scattered around helps. i've tried the spray type of animal repellants available at hardware stores, but without much success at home.
