Spring is starting to bloom

Brenton

aka PEI Detail
I don't know when spring comes in your area, but here it breaks in early April. It was nice to see some sun today, but more than that it seems like the spring detailing season is coming to me.

We had a good February, for February, only losing a few hundred dollars. January was poison, but March is looking good. Two days this week, Monday & Wednesday, we will have billed more than all of January. We have four cars for a funeral home lined up this month, including a hearse tomorrow, and although we aren't getting many more stop by, I think things are opening up.

I better get my 05 books in order. I think Spring is here.

the weather has been great down here in maryland also this week....business has really picked up and im pretty excited for spring

im glad things are picking up pei, from your prior post this has been a concernn for you. you have worked hard and deserve it, best of luck..

We actually had a pretty mild winter. In PEI, it is traditional to get a storm around St. Patrick's day. That should be the the last gasp. April, they say, is in like a lion and out like a lamb, so we'll see.

See 89LXI, to move to Houston, I'd pretty much have to live in Texas. Despite the winters, we'll stick close to here.

I cant wait to have to cut my grass. Spring is getting close though,I put a few japanese maples and a rose bush that are in large pots in my garage over winter and all of them are starting to bud,so I hope they know something I dont... LOL

PEI how much would you say you make a year in the detailing business? I was thinking of going into the business myself. And how much do you charge per person?

stay on topic please:)

It's supposed to be in the 70's this weekend, so it's time to take theTBird out of storage & put another coat or 2 of Natty's blue on her. Then that 2-week pollen period should come in April sometime. It's awful here in Va, especially with black cars!

Yep starting to feel and look like spring around here in Augusta, Georgia. Masters week is only 25 days away. April always brings lots of people and pollen.

On the first year of my complete retirement I plan on spending the week of the Master's in Georgia. Am not sure if I will be able/afford to get in but I hope to experience the tradition that it imparts to me.

It definitely is a sign of spring to me.

05SpectraSX, feel free to PM me questions. If you want optimism only, don't bother.

So I actually had to turn away work cause I have a meeting tonight. The Funeral Home Director picked up the Hearse and was pleased. Had a hand wash today, and the guy booked in for a full int. clean and a clean & wax on his 23ft. camper. It was a big day for us, with a couple jobs flowing over tomorrow.

And then...it starts snowing at 5:00!

good luck brenton. spring is staring in ontario here! took my bike out the other day to wash it and get it road ready. that is my sign of spring. good job on landing the funeral home. if they are happy with your work, you know they will be regulars. congrats.
