spring detail done!

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
well, being i am laid off (really got to get a job soon!) the ZR2 is done. did it a bit early this year. frame and wheel well's and rear shackles all painted/undercoated. went with turtle wax ice this time on the body. mothers wheel wax. engine all cleaned and detailed. interior all 303'ed and cleaned. meguires trim detail spray on all ext. trim. DONE. now i hear rumor of a snow event next week!! lol...figures. depending how things go the next month or two, the ZR2 may be sold, and i'll put my RUBICON into DD duties. a supposed call-back is due in april, but i have my doubt's. ..later..

Sorry to hear that you got laid off. SOunds like you went all out on the ZR2. How did you like the TW Ice? Any pics of that or the Rubicon?

really like the TW ice. different than anything i have ever used. go's on clear. can be used on all plastics and trim! shine is bar none. very easy to use.

look's great. when you wax you don't have to worry about all your trim. it make's it look next to new. i believe advance auto has it on sale. i also tried the companion product "ice detailer". kind of expensive, but also does a nice job. wish i could post pics for you, but i don't have the ability. here is the ZR2 with the lift just installed: http://www.zr2usa.com/members.php?id=797

while on the subject...i see they released a "claybar ice" for paint jobs needing more attention. both are on sale at advanced auto. the snow...well it's going from 70 to 28 by wednesday night. wed-sat look's like crap.

So sorry to hear about your job. I hope things turn around for you soon. Sounds like you did a really nice detail. :)

thanks :) kind of a "rock in a hard place" if you find a job for less than your unemployment, your defeating yourself, but you want to work! in a perfect world, i'll get called back. if not, then brush yourself off, and start again. does not help that jobs here are very hard to get.
