Spray Wax and Sealant Question

Can I use a spray wax (OCW) or spray sealant (UPGP) over a freshly waxed car or is necessary to wait 12+ hours?

Thanks for your help.

Typically sealants need to bond to clean paint.

I would say you have it back-wards.

Apply sealant then while it is not necessary if you must have wax put it over the sealant.

So even a WOWA sealant like UPGP should be applied to clean paint?
Can I use Klasse AIO under it or does it need a pure polish?

wots UPGP? Not familiar with this one. Is that a 4* product? I am looking for a spray sealant type product. I tried to use Poorboy's QD+, but it is messy on a Jeep (I love it on the other 2 cars though). I want protection I can spray on and will not stain the acres of black trim.

*** nevermind. I found it. Jeez that stuff is spendy. The search continues.

UPGP might seem expensive at first glance but considering I can get 20 applications on my Impreza in a 4 oz bottle, it's really not bad. Not to mention that it is the easiest to apply product I have ever used. I am a big fan of AW and OCW but they don't match the durability of UPGP (and I haven't even been using it properly). It's on sale at Autogeek right now for 16.99 for a 4 oz bottle. Worth every penny IMHO.

When you think about most any sealant or wax, when you actually figure out the cost per application it seems to be one of the lesser expensive supplies. The ones that get you are painter's tape, detail spray, tire foams, undercarriage spray, etc.

Yeah..I'd use that on my car or the wifes, but the Jeep is a sunny weather only ride. Top stays down and doors stay off and she sleeps in the garage. I need something I can be careless and messy with. OCW looks to be exactly what I need.

I want to thank everyone for the responses.

I now know how I need to properly use UPGP. Still have questions though.

Here is what I'm trying to achieve. There are friends and family cars that I am detailing that I know will not see this treatment again until next year. I want to give the most durable longest lasting protection in one session.

I have been throwing a layer of UPGP over Collinite 845. I understand that it isn't the proper way to do it but....
Will it at least provide some benefit?
Can I put UPGP on a freshly waxed car?

Can I spray OCW over a freshly waxed car to help get longer protection?

Basically can I top a freshly waxed car with spray products like these or do I need to give time for the 845 to cure before topping with a spray?
