Spray Nine For Cleaning Vinyl and Plastic Interiors

As far as I can see Spray Nine is the absolute best cleaner for vinyl and plastic interiors. You don't have to dilute it like other products and it seems to work much better than many other cleaners/degreasers that I've tried. Is this product safe on ALL vinyl and plastic interiors or have I just been lucky so far?

P.S. I actually sprayed this product on some dirt stains that were on my rear bumper and it took the stains right out without damaging the clear coat.

never heard of that stuff before either but it appears to work good . . . . though tjeir little youtube advertising video seems a little

"AS SEEN ON TV-ish"

i'm going to go and check around to see if we have that locally. Only bad part about that is it might not be cost effective. Where as other products can be diluted quickly to stretch and make a product cost effective.

Meguiars APC works very well to clean everything . . . . . and it is safe on painted surfaces. Not sure what the price is for the Spray Nine though.

I bought a few 24 oz. bottles off Amazon.com when they had the price set at $3.40. After I left them a review they brought the price up to almost $7 so I guess I'll have to start buying it by the gallon to get that same price.

probably so . . . . let me or us know how it goes. I have been using Megs APC for a while now and can't seem to break free from that as it's a great product.

I already have the product and it works great! I just wanted to know if anybody had any bad experiences with this product - especially with interior vinyl or plastic. The last thing I would want to do is fade or damage somebody's interior.

well if it's safe for clear coats then you should be fine to use it on interior pieces.

Well, they don't recommend it but I tried it anyways. I first tried this product by Turtle Wax which is made to remove bugs and tar but that didn't work too well.

tarminator works good or Poor Boys Bug Squash is suppose to work really well for that stuff.

First off Spray Nine makes me gag, something terrible.

Second, I have seen it eat the stitching on a vinyl top, so I can not approve it for car cleaning.

They do make other cleaners that I have not tried.

I don't run into a lot of stitching in the interior around the doors and dashboard but I'll keep that in mind in case I ever do.

You can buy this product in quarts or gallons at HD for short money.

One of the esteemed detailers here at Autopia uses this product as a de-waxer...very effective!

HD Total is awesome on interiors, Greg :)
