I bought a bottle of Spray and Rinse a couple of months ago and the first two times i used it the spray nozzle that came with it worked fine then i went to use it today and i could not get it to work no matter what i tried. Am I doing something wrong or do you think i might have a faulty nozzle?

Thanks Jon

Do you mean poorboy's spray and wipe :lol?

The blue and white nozzel - it sucks it sucks hard :)

I threw mine out and bought a sprayer at BJ warehouse for a couple bucks.

I purchased several high volume sprayer heads, they do a good job of misting as well, from http://www.usplastics.com I also picked up about a dozen 2 oz squeeze bottles, I have all my polishes in one and keep them very handy

There were no sprayers given a couple months ago with Spray and Rinse ..we just recently purchased chemical resistant sprayers. Even the new sprayers being chemical resistant does not mean chemical proof and should be rinsed through with water after each day of use to prolong the life of a sprayer.

Oh the wheel cleaner ..duh I am soooo far behind on steve's new stuff - I need to use my PB bucks and get an order in steve!

Just received "Spray & Rinse" Wheel Cleaner directlly from Steve, WOW, I was using Eagle One A2Z, which as you know if pretty good stuff; But damn,I have clear costed aluminum wheels on my truck that had 3 weeks on dirt and brake dust on them. I sprayed water on them and then sprayed a minimun coat of "Spray & Rinse"on each wheel, let set for about 1 minute and then Sprayed off with water nozzle at "Stream" I have never seen a product clean this much dirt in one application. It out performs A2Z at least 4 to 1. It has to be the "Product of the Year" for car care products. What more can I say. You're My Hero Steve! :phone:

Glad you liked it Jon,, remember to dilute it if you are going to use it often;)
ps remember to rinse out the sprayer after each use to get a longer sprayer life.

Steve,
What do you recommmend diluting it with and at what ratio?

I have learned the hard way to clean the sprayer with warm water after each use. I only use a wheel cleaner every 2-3 weeks on my car and yesterday I couldn't get my S&R to spray at all...fortunately I had just cleaned my 4* Wheel Cleaner sprayer so I used it instead.

I remove the sprayer & spray the remaining product back into the bottle then insert the tube into some warm water & spray 4-5 sprays down the drain...remove the sprayer from the water & spray until the water is gone.

If anyone has a better way to keep the sprayer working I'm all ears!

Steve I'm also interested in dilution ratios...S&R works great for me but I don't want to damage my wheels anymore than I have with curb burns, LOL.

**Edit** This is a problem I've experienced with most wheel cleaners that really work and I learned through trial & error along with a few tips on here to clean my wheel cleaner sprayers after each use. I don't want anyone to think this is an issue unique to the Poorboy's Spray & Rinse wheel cleaner.

Depending on how much brake dust your particular car emits, I'd go with a 50:50 dilution for regular cleanings and stronger if you have a Beemer, Mercedes or other high maintenence wheel.

Todd I use cold water but warm should be fine too for rinsing out the sprayer.
I just fill another 32oz bottle with water and spray it a few times..
