Spots

Hey Guys

Just purchased my Ford Racing FR500's for my '03 Mach 1.

They are black with the outer lip aluminum. It does seem like they have a clear coat finish on them. Anyway, when I was done cleaning my car today, I
noticed that the outer lip has these tiny spots, kinda look like water spots.

I tried some AIO, Intensive Polish, Final Polish, but nothing seems to work.
I dont know if the spots are actually under the clear. I did use some bleech
white on the tires, but I always make sure the rims are wet and rinse very well.

I can't see the spots from your picture. Bleach White has been known to do this to coated surfaces. I hope this isn't the case.
 
it sounds like spots on the clear coat caused by a cleaner or rim acid. can't say for sure without seeing but that is what it sounds like to me. i have seen it on clear coated and non-clear coated rims. not much can be done.
