So after going through an OCD spiral of thinking my confirmed factory bumper was repainted I now have another question about it. There seems to be black specs under the finish that are so small and will not come out with a clay bar. I noticed one small spot on the trunk like this also, but mainly the rear bumper. It is not raised at all. It just seems like it's in the paint. I don't even think I can get a picture of it. I'm starting to think my bumper was just poorly sprayed at the factory. It does not appear to be repainted at all. No runs or drips in any spots, even over spray on both sides on the backside, and what seems to be a matching quality inspection date as the other trim pieces. Is this common in painting sometimes for contaminants to be trapped under the clear?? Sorry if this is like a part 2 of my first thread just trying to piece everything together.
