A couple of months ago there was a bmw posted on here that was topped with souveran and i cant remember what color it was. It was either a burgandy or black. All I remember is it being unbelievably wet looking. It was out of this world. I think scottwax had something to do with it. Does anyone know what im talking about? i want it for a background for my computer. Thanx.

Here you go, I will post the link in a little bit!

i appreciate the response jdookie but those arent it. I'm gonna do some searching and see what i come up with. Check my last post lemme know what you think, im trying to get my paint to look as close to this picture as i possibly can.

I remember that car, you're right, it's unbelievably wet!

That was a repaint, not a factory color or paint job.

what makes an alpina model different from the rest if i might ask

pretty much everything :) i'd be lost if i told you all, you can go to their website and check it out. they are made in germany but i think you could bring one to the us possibly. they get the bmw, and change everything out on it from the interior to motor to suspension, brakes, wheels etc. it is a whole different car.

cool article on the b7 http://www.alpina-automobile.de/downloads/testberichte/en1091783395autocar_B7_0804.pdf

Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong but that's not a custom paint job - it's a BMW Individual colour - Mora I believe. Whilst it costs about an extra $2k from the factory, it's not custome in the true sense of the word.

Thank you. I'm using an old 2.1MP camera though, but with the correct white balance and lighting the results are a tad above average :)

The paint is custom BMW color.

Here is a quote from the owner a couple of posts down from the top!;)
