Souix polisher

Doesn't anyone still use a Souix polisher. I grew up with souix polishers thats the machine I learned on 1200 12 pounds heavy chassie one speed on or off no in between you had to be on your feet and thinking fast.

I still have three old Souix buffers stored two 1200 and the last metal body 2000 restored by kimmerly brothers who did the service for Souix. Dinosours by now but what memories they bring bacl like the model t no quite but early technology to say the lease. When souix went to the plastic body and added cruise and speed controll I choose a black & Decker 6138. Now I just ordered a Mikita top[ polisher very quite and user friendly.



Does anyone remember Souix tools? I must be getting old.

They are still around. I just don't think they are popular with the detail crowd. I think the air style polishers are just too loud and a pain to use since you have to drag the hose around too. An electric cord is much easier to deal with.
 
Truthfully I know they made other tools . but waht intreaged me is how many of you never mentioned them . I guess my be they aren't popular any more.

I am saving my old 1200's and metal bodied 200 for the auto detailer museum .
