Sorting through the info & cleaning up poor work

My car (1999 Acura Integra GSR) has been re-painted twice and the buffing job it received this last time was horrible. I took it to a detailer at a Mercedes dealer and the guy did wonders on my car but by his own admission it would take more time (which means more money) to get the rest of the swirls / holograms out.

So bottom line is I want to make the car look flawless and I need some advice. I have sorted through all sorts of wonderful information on here but I want some specific advice. I have a Porter 7424 polisher and I have Klasse AIO (to clean paint) and Klasse sealant to finish the job but I need opinions/advice on what to use in between (PB SSR 1-3, etc).

Any tips are welcome.

My strategy is to always work from less aggressive to more aggressive. If SSR1 doesn't take care of it, move on up to SSR2 and so forth. After you have found the polish that will take care of the holigrams, work your way back down to least aggressive. I do this to make sure I'm not using more "bite" than I need. I've only used the PB's SSR and Pinnacle XMT lines, but there are many other polishes out there. In my opinion though, you can't go wrong with the SSR line.

I think audi covered it. He is full of info and good to learn from like many members off this site. His recommendations look good, so I second that motion

From what I see in the pictures, you should be able to handlle the marring with SSR1 and a poishing pad. It may take more than 1 pass, but your finish doesn't look like it would call for much more.
