sonus swirl buster pad and polish

has anyone used the new swirl buster polishing pad from Sonus with the swirl buster polish yet. I have a dark grey metallic car with mininum swirls (at least that is what i see). Is this polish an agressive polish. I don't want to ruin my paint. any help is appreciated. I am planning on giving this a try tomorrow if the thunderstorms hold off.

thanks

It'll work. We're splitt'n peas here, but I'd use the SFX 2 pad instead...it'll finish down a little better on dark paint.

I vote yes, it holds the polish in the pockets so it can do it's work better. I've used mine a little, before the heat wave hit hard, and think it's a good choice.

IS the Swirlbuster pad really have an adavantage or not?

We'll, it's oftly hard/firm...so I'd say it is an advantage for compounding (via DA), but for final polishing it would be a disadvantage (noticable on darker paints). For me, it is a light compounding/heavy polishing pad...just like with the other orange pads out there (they all use the same foam).

Also, regarding the "polishing pocket/ring, my concern is that the polish would hang up in here too long and thus not get worked properly/broken down properly...though I have not evidence to substantiate this concern.
