Son's toy

Very nice looking C3! Looks like a 1973-ish model.....:bigups

'73 had the chrome rear bumpers and the plastic front (only year for that). I would have guessed 74-75, but saw it was a 74 (last year for the big block). Cool car!

Thats awesome Ron! Is the engine still stock?

Yep and all #'s match

Awesome car man, maybe one day when you grow up you can have a ride like that of your own :D JK

It looked as if it previously had side pipes.
Besides different mount bolt locations it hooked right up

That makes the job just a bit easier.

I've got a client with a white 77' that he wants to put side pipes on. So this thread reminded me of him.

Nice 'Vette!

The C3 has been my favorite of all the models, but pre-1978 though. Even though they still looked nice I was not a fan of the long hatch back looking rear window. I was actually in the market for one a couple years ago but I am just too big of a guy to fit comfortably in one to drive it. Took a '78 out for a test drive and my legs started cramping in the 4 mile test drive. That ended the need to have one.

Dean. :bigups

congrats to your son, i purchased my 71BB eight years ago but have decided to take it off the road until i retire in eight years. just purchased a 99 bmw vert to replace some of the enjoyment of drop top driving. will post pics when i do a full detail of it....

He's like 6'3" or so, so it's a pain for him with the clutch
