Sonax PNS and BSD are discontinued in Canada :( (EDIT- now they saying just BSD is discontinued!)

My favorite combo the past few years has been discontinued in Canada :(
I was told via email from SONAX that due to VOC regulations Polymer Net Shield isn`t available and that Brilliant Shine Detailer was replaced with Ultra Slick Detailer.

I really loved the SONAX PNS/BSD combo as it made some amazing beading on the vehicles I`ve used it on. Everyone seems to love that! It lasted a very long time on my car as well. I`ve not reapplied it since June of `23 and its still beading pretty well! Though it is not offering much in the way of protection now, and really needs to be redone.

Any recommendations for something that lasts hopefully a year, beads/cleans well, and won`t break the bank?!

I chickened out on the CanCoat (I felt I wasn't skilled enough to apply it properly) and bought some Jescar Ultralock+ and applied a couple coats over the weekend. So far so good. It looks nice a shiney and was easy to apply and easy to take off. I hope it lasts a decent amount of time...

Sorry to hear Sonax Polymer Net Shield has been discontinued where you live... I used a lot of it for Client's vehicles in the past, and it always looked great and gave the paintwork great protection...

Well now, I'm not impress with Sonax Canada. I emailed them again to see about PNS and now they are saying PNS is NOT discontinued, just BSD is!!

We were told that Polymer Net did not meet the new Canadian VOC regs.

We have since learned it complies. Sorry for the confusion


BSD is officially discontinued.
