Son1c Wax Autism Review

This is my personal Daily Driver vehicle in Black Sapphire metallic. It was polished a few months ago with just a 1 step polish. Prior to the application of the wax, I gave it an IPA wipedown to ensure it was the only form of protection. I then applied the wax. I waited a full 12 hours of cure time before exposing water to the paint, even though Drew says it is ready instantly. Now, onto the review!

Packaging:
The classic Son1c packaging, super sturdy black jars. The jars don't flex at all, are drop proof, and the seal is very tight. Autism also has a sticker on the top with some instructions and information that 10% of the proceeds are being donated. The wax is also hand-serialized, and I am happy to report I got #2.

Texture/ Scent:
Autism paste wax is a soft paste wax that has a bright yellow color, with an interesting blue dot that travels all the way down through the pot. Not sure exactly what this does, but it definitely looks cool! The scent is hard to describe, but is extremely pleasant. Not overpowering, subtle but it's in my top 3 for favorite paste wax scents. I know the wax has some grape seed oil extract in it, so that may be the scent.

Application:
Since the wax is a soft paste, it is very easy to apply. I started by loading up the applicator and proceeded to spread it in straight lines onto the panel. The wax applied extremely easily and spread very far. It does not feel oily or sticky. Just super smooth and easy to apply. I then allowed to product to haze, which inside my humid garage took about 15 minutes.

The product hazed up on my hood:

Removal:
The wax was also easy to remove. I wouldn't say effortless, but definitely not difficult by any means. I used the short nap side of my microfiber towel, then flipped to the thick pile. The wax did powder a tiny bit, but it wasn't a huge deal--just flip your towel.

Shine:
As you can see, the shine and depth of the paint is stunning. It looks great on metallic paint. Here are some pictures inside my garage. I will post the outside pictures in a reply, as I can only upload 10 pictures.

Beading/ Sheeting:
This wax is SUPER hydrophobic. Water beads and sheets off the paint like crazy. Instead of showing pictures, I have two short videos showing the beading and sheeting. The sheeting video will also be posted in the reply, as I can only post 1 video

Conclusion:[/B]
Son1c Wax Autism has been my favorite paste wax of all time for a few months now. I absolutely love the texture and how far it spreads on the panel. It is still easy to remove and fills your garage with the incredible scent. Beading and sheeting is incredible and protection from my experience has lasted almost 3 months! I would be willing to put it up against any paste wax on the market. Hope you enjoyed the review!
