Sometimes you just have to shake your head and wonder....

DaGonz

Autopia fire/rescue.
My fire station is located diagonally across the street from Scrub a Dub Car wash. This morning, I saw a black Porsche Cayenne S that I detailed just a couple of weeks ago come out of the car wash.

The owner's biggest complaint when I first looked at the vehicle was the marring induced by taking his Porsche through the car wash... :hm :doh

Did you wave to him when he left?

It doesn't make much sense to me. Do you offer a washing service yourself? I would just set up something weekly with them.

I am a seasonal detailer (except for my own vehicles, which I can bring into the firehouse to wash and detail in the winter months), opening in mid march and closing down when the snow flies.

I offered to wash the Cayenne for him during my open season, he said he would think about it.

Some people just don't get it... :wall

I find it hard to believe someone who obviously can afford a Porsche Cayenne would cheap out and can only afford the ~$15 Scrub-n-Rub...

You might be surprised. I get a lot of people that are all show (have the nice car but really can't afford it) and a lot of people with a nice car and so much money you could never spend it all that are so cheap it would make you sick. All you can do is try and educate them and provide a better service and product than the next guy.

I'm glad I am the only one who washes the Cayenne Turbo I take care of. I couldn't stand someone else messing up my hard work and that beautiful SUV.
