Yeah so some callous person hit me and drove off without leaving any info. If i knew who did it things might get ugly but i don't so i have no violent options open. They left some hideous scratches, about a foot long, down to the primer. What products do I need to remove them? I know i need touch-up paint. I have SMR, a unigrit sanding block, and some 3m fine cut rubbing compound which says it removes 1500grit or finer scratches. I'm thinking to ignore the rubbing compound. Do I need DACP? GEPC? This will be applied by hand btw, and no "buy the pc" suggestions, i may next year but i've gotta try it by hand first. The car is black so matching the paint shouldn't be an issue either. Thanks.
