Some trashed rims I bought last week: before and after.

I bought these last week and had some time to work on them today. Here are some befores of the worst rim:

Then I cleaned and wet sanded them on Friday and Saturday. Here is an after of the same rim pictured above:

Still not too pretty, but definitely prettier. I'm thinking maybe I should wet sand the spots that look like chrome now in the same direction as it would look if it was still machined?

So, the question is, are these good enough to go on this?

Should I wet sand them past the clear and polish them to a chrome-look finish? Should I sell them and save enough money to buy some rims in better condition? I want your opinions.

IMO the rims on the car now look good nice and clean if you put those on there even tho there is a big diference they are still a bit banged up sell em and stick with what you got untill u got enough money to get something nice.
