Some questions about HD FREE

Hello everyone,



this weekend I've purchased HD Free (very good presentation of 3D products line here in Spain), but before applying in my car I have a couple of questions:



- The correct dilution is 1 part of hd free + 4 parts of distilled water, Am I right?

- After spray HD Free, How much time has the product to be in the paint before wiping out?

- Is it possible to clean pneus and wheels as well?

How can you have doubts about a product following a good presentation and not having used the product ??

Well, the thing is that I knew this forum some days ago, and here I am! On saturday there was a presentation about 3D products, here in Barcelona (Spain). The manager of 3D cleaned an engine in ten minutes, using hd free + apc + ultra protectant. And I like it very much.



I'm trying to do the same, and while doing the dilution some questions came into my mind!



I hope to learn a lot from this site, there are a lot of useful information

Welcome Toni...My Wife and I just got back from a European vacation for 12 days, ( 2 of which were in Barcelona) and let me tell you... I never want to drive there... too many motorcycles weaving in and out of traffic, not to mention the round abouts. Very nice area, and we would definitely visit again. We had a great time! That is all I have to offer on this thread... lol (sorry to side track a bit)
 
Hola Toni! Welcome to Autopia. Yes you are right, HD FREE concentrate is 4:1



You can wipe it off right away. And do use it on the whole car. Paint, engine, wheels etc...

Hi street5927! Thabks for your welcome. Haha yes traffic jams are insane in Barcelona, but try to drive in other citys like Rome or Moscow (it's CRAZY).

Per request, your thread title has been updated.



Thomas's reply is spot with your request. The only thing I would like to add is that you don't need to use distilled water. Plain ole tap water is just fine.



Keep in mind that HD FREE also is an excellent QD, clay lubricant and glass cleaner. I've also used it to spruce up interiors including carpets, fabrics seats and dashboards.
 
This afternoon I washed my car with hd free, and i have to say it's an amazing product! Washed in less than 15 minutes with veeeery good finish. I've taken a picture with my mobile phone:
