Some picture from South Florida Detailing Class

Todd@RUPES

Just a regular guy
This was the second detailing class I have taught in South Florida, and will there are already 3 more scheduled, as well as a doing a seminar in a Boston Museum (possibly with our very own Rick Rack) and a class scheduled in North Florida.

Anyways I really enjoy these Proper Auto Care/ Todd Helme classes so I thought I would show some pictures.

Some of our towels, pads, and polishes

Very cool, Todd.

Too bad I didn't live closer or I would have dropped by to say hi.

Let's try to put something together by the end of the summer at the museum...

Very cool Todd!

I held one last summer for the 8thcivic.com forum members though it was a little less formal. I was going to host another this summer for a local S2000 club but it doesn't look like I can fit it in now. :(

Actually part of the reason I went to DF this year was to see how Mike ran his classes...wanted to get some ideas for my own. ;)

Rick and Todd,
Can I get on the list for Boston so that I can make sure I get all the information? I would love to be part of it if I can.

Thanks guys!

I will see when the next detailing class by Todd and PAC, so I can post it for our members who might live near by so they can attend.

I'd really like to attend such a class but would rather spend the transportation cost (from IA) on products .

What, if I may ask, were your comments on the MF towels displayed in the second picture (from left to right)? Thanks!

Jack

Looks like you had some good products to work with! And the subject vehicles weren't bad either!!!:D:D:D

Thanks Bill, the Vette's where sweet. Good times!

I have always had a large interest in teaching classes, before working with PAC it was something I have wanted to get into. Between working on here, testing products, and detailing, it gets a little overwhelming although I already have three more in the works.

I went to DF to learn from you...

Jack those are the Dragon Fiber towels sold by PAC, which to my understanding is the OLDEST and ORIGINAL brand of Microfibers for automotive use. We have researched it hard, and to our collective knowledge we where the first to introduce microfiber clothes and then shortly after waffe weaves.

I wonder who that may be guess i'm not worthy :(

I'll let you know next class, I promise you. I would LOVE IT if you came by!

Sweet Todd - Is this @ Alex's shop? Can you cut me a discount on the next class? :D

Yes and NO!! LOL

Todd, when and where is the seminar in boston?

I was contacted by the caretaker of a muesam up there about 4 months ago. I passed it along to Rick, who expressed interest in having me come along as well. We will work it out sooner then later and I will let you know for sure!

Todd,

What backing plates are these:

Just some prototype ones that I have had for a long time.

It looks like Rick and I are going to move forward at having a class at his shop and perhaps a second class at the Lars Anderson Automotive Museam. More to follow...
