I can't take credit for these pics, a fellow club member took them. This is how he did it:



using a tripod, open the shutter and cue the driver to drive away while keeping the shutter open.
 
It has to do with shutter speeds, exposing the film to light at a different speed. I'm sure he can tell you exactly how he did it.

That's a seriously sweet pic (pic #1 that is). I'm going to have to start metting with my camera and the shutter speed a little now.



Nice looking car too.
