.... and I think I found a winner!

Ive been doing a full blown detail on my SS little by little for the last couple days. For some reason Ive been having a real hard time finishing the paint... I knew F-body paint (Camaros) had pretty hard paint but this was rediculous! I started with a yellow pad and Megs #85... my paint was in pretty bad shape, it was the first car I detailed with a PC and well.. it was OK but far from perfection so I came out swinging with the hard stuff. Then I moved to a orange pad and #83.. everything was coming out great. Then I moved to a finishing pad and 106FF..... it went down ok @ 1000-1100 rpm but it was still leaving a little bit left. I had my new bottle of CG EZ Creme Glaze and had full intentions of using it. Well.. thats when I started thinkin' "hey..theres some folks that mix finishing polish with their glazes.. WTH Ill try it!"

So I tried it out on one panel and HOLY SMOKES did it work GREAT! I used a 50/50 mix with the finishing pad @ 1300rpm. Once I wiped clean it was perfection! :shocked

Next step plan is CG M-seal topped with CG 5050. :woot:

I cant wait to get this thing done! I will have some pics to share soon!
