Now I have to find something different. I'm planning to use Klasse twins. Someone here recommand me using FD but I don't want to get it online due to shipping cost (weight). Some QDs I can think of now that I can get locally are #34 (maybe), Quick Detailer, MOTHERS Show Time, Black Magic Detailer spray (no way :down), EO wet wipe shine and TW gloss spray (??). I know there are more that I didn't list. Which QD (that I can get locally) is good for Klasse twins?? For APC+, I have to find a substitute for it. I thought about Orange Blaster degreaser but I'm not sure if it'll be too tough on interior plastic (maybe dilute??). Need help :sosad

Call your local automotive paint supply store and see if they can order it in for you. I did that here at my local store and it took him 2 days to get it. You won't find Final Detail on the shelf, so it's got to be ordered. It's the best QD i have used and not very expensive. It was about $17.00 for a gallon. You won't be sorry you bought it.:D

From what I understand FD has carnauba in it so if youre planning on using the Klasse twins the SG wont bond properly to the AIO as your base.Best bet would either be Eagle One or Final Inspection.I myself havent used Mothers QD so i have no experience to say otherwise. For interior plastic alot of ppl use Plexus.

I thought it has silicone not carnauba isn't it ?? BTW is it safe/good to use FI on SG?? I heard someone said it can remove SG since it has cleaning abilty or something :nixweiss

All QD sprays has some sort of silicone in it but its the carnauba itself that will prevent the SG from bonding.Look at EO,it has silicone in it,but it hasnt gotten in the way with SG properly bonding to AIO especially when you do multiple coats of it.Hope others may chime in here to give their opinion.

There are trace amounts of silicone in FD. Will it inhibit SG bonding? It probably wouldn't help it, but the amount is so small. If you are layering SG without driving, then FD probably wouldn't be your best bet. However, a simple wash or something like S&W would even remove the trace amounts of silicone because they don't have any staying power.

I normally QD my layers of SG with FD. Before I added my latest coat, I used FI first then added the SG, I also used FI to remove the SG residue. This practice seems to be working good for me.

Isn't Final Inspection BodyShop safe? therefore it should be fine to apply anytime to clean or do a final inspection :nixweiss

Yep, thats my understanding of FI. I use FD on a more"daily basis" to make the shine pop out but want to avoid it when applying more SG to avoid bonding issues

So is it better if I get both of them?? FI for removing the lose dirt before applying a new coat of SG and FD for regular use??
