So, am I missing something?

How do you justify something like this? Is it like the old snake oil salesman? Is it years of drug abuse? Or is it that people have too much money and not enough time to grasp reality? There better be one hell of a "happy ending" included with this. > http://www.detailersdomain.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=345 I can see spending $9 on #845 or #111 {the deepest wet shine I have ever seen}, $20 on Nattys {a very close second}, or even $30 - $40 on one of the Pinniacle's if you’re feeling, or think your extra special {The other 2 out do these by leaps and bounds} :wow: But WTF would drive you to do it?

I hope I am not offending anyone, that’s not my intention. I may be new to this world of quality products and I do appreciate the knowledge that I have gained, but I did not fall of a back of a turnip truck... :hmmm:

It is not different than many choices in life.

Is a $100 bottle of wine better than a $15 bottle?

Who needs a car that costs more than $25K?

Who needs $250 sunglasses?

And to use your own signature, who decides what is a good cigar?

It is a debate that never has any conclusion except different opinions. People spend money as they like. Some have the luxury of having a lot of money and do not need to worry about where it goes.

Zymol Costs More

You're not even in the right "SOLAR" system when speaking of the highest priced automotive waxes. Zymol Royale dwarfs the price of that particular Swissvax (Swissvax does make a product that comes in at about $2500). Royale comes in at a little over $7000. You really should try it, it's fantastic. Of course you do get free refills, it's quite a value (I just had to add that). :D

Zymol Royal Glaze 50oz.

Paul used to use Zymol but Swissvax found a way to capitalize on his success and now make his name brand wax.

Zymol will also tool up occasionally and make a limited run of a product called Zymol Solaris, it runs $30,000 and came with my Bugatti Veyron. I also use it on the Bentley, Rolls, Ferrari's, Saleen's, and Lambo's, it works equally well on all of these cars. Heck it even works on patten leather shoes. Since using Solaris I just can't see myself using any of the lesser products on the market including Royale.:rofl

ZYMOL SOLARIS

A while back I saw a guy on EBay selling Zymol refills (Vintage Wax). It comes in at a modest $2000, 10 auctions and it's paid for. I'm sure he kept the crystal container and had it refilled. That is assuming he was really selling the contents of a Royale container (it was probably Turtle Wax). :D I saw the bidding in the $200 range.

2500 wax, it's all about glam IMO, sure it may be a great looking wax. IMO there are many waxes and sealants that look amazing for under 30 bucks.

The only thing you're missing here is a zero. The Solaris is a $25,000 plus wax, not a $2500. :D
