Snowy locations PHOTOSHOOT - BMW 530d 2004

Hi.

I slightly polished my car couple of weeks ago with Britemax #4 Black Max & Lake Country CCS white pad, then I put a layer of Finish Kare 1000P. Last Saturday I washed the car and put another layer of FK1000P on it.

Then at Sunday we went for a little roadtrip with my gf and Flat Eric of course. I usually grab my camera along, and again I shot quite a bunch of pictures on different locations that we visited.

It is actually pretty challenging to take pictures of a black car against the white background :tongue1:. A pic easily becomes too bright with burned background when the car is decent, or too black car when a background is ok. It almost always requires some playing with colors, contrast and highlights in a photoshop. I hope you like these anyway...

Eric politely offered to operate as a driver for us (See the video at the end :shifty: ).

Very nice stills - I assume that these were reasonably close to where the car was detailed, as there is no sling on the side of the car. Very nicely done! Hope you tipped Eric for the chauffer job.

Jeff

Love the pics. They make for excellent desktop background images. :eek1:

Will have update the one that I have been using for most of the year.

Thank you guys.

No the locations were not close. The nearest was as far as 50kms / 31miles and the whole trip was about 200kms / 124miles and the car still looks like just washed. The temperature is the thing. It was around -13°C / 8.6°F at Sunday and now it is -25°C / -13°F. It is like this around here from November to March so I can easily go 4-6 weeks with a completely clean car, because EVERYTHING is frozen and the snow is pure dust.

Think I might need to clean my desktop... :shifty:

I think you should haha!

Hey! I know that pic behind the icons! :tongue1:

I have larger resolution versions (approx. 1600x1024) on my home computer, I could upload them to the same photobucket folder as the pics above.
